ENVIROMENTAL BIOTECHNOLOGY

As an alternative to improve the quality and availability of the existing fertilizers, here I present my proposal idea of producing multipurpose liquid biofertilizers (Grow Green Food Plant). I highly believe it is possible to make it comes true with some potential aspects mentioned below.

Grow Green Food Plant

This organic multipurpose liquid biofertilizers is designed with major nutrient-providing microorganisms to improve soil nutrition and optimize conditions for healthier plants. It is recommended for all indoor and outdoor plants and also cost-effective choice which helps in achieving increased crop yields, soil health and sustainable global food production.

The figure below shows a draft of Grow Green Food Plant design with two different sizes. 


Features:

This food plant comes with several features that potentially help farmers to optimize their crops' growth and health. It is environment-friendly as the ingredients composed are 100% organic based materials. The sizes and liquid form of biofertilizers also user-friendly and easy to store. Besides, the quality standards of liquid based organic fertilizers are good and stable for six months. It is long shelf-life products since no carrier is needed. This liquid biofertilizers also offer such a low-cost yet affordable fertilizers in the town.


Community Impact:  

This multipurpose liquid biofertilizers has higher potential to satisfy the gardeners’ needs with its multipurpose features. The gardeners could simply feed variety type of plants in their garden using the same fertilizers. Indeed, they do not have to worry as this plant food enrich with plant growth promoting bacteria and all the nutrients required for plant growth and soil fertility which suitable to all types of plants. Other than that, Grow Green Food Plant offer low cost of biofertilizer to make sure every gardener should have at least one bottle for their garden. This food plants offer two different sizes and design to allow the customers choose their favoured and most comfort sizes to use with. And for gardeners, it means less work and more time to contemplate their dream garden!    

 

Collaborator:  

To ensure this social innovation project are run well, our team are looking forward to team up with two renowned organizations that very familiar with agriculture field.  

1. MARDI (Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute) 

Collaboration with this institute would focus on the further research in identifying the suitable incorporation of living or latent microorganisms to be cultured for biofertilizers. The proper microorganisms are significant to increase the performance in promoting healthy growth of plant and optimizing the soil conditions. The high survival rates of microorganisms are significant in order to achieve stable and higher shelf-life condition of the biofertilizers.    

2. OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute)  

In this project, this well-known institute provides clear information and guidance about appropriate materials for organic operations. OMRI will help to review the materials used in this food plant and identify any substances that against the organic standards. Generally, acceptable products will be one of OMRI Listed® and will appear on the OMRI Products Lists©. Our team are highly enthusiastic to be certified with this organizations thus, offer such high-quality organic-based products. OMRI also provides technical support and training for professionals in the organic industry.
